A Short Weekend to Remember

We spent last weekend at Wise Acres, and it felt as though we had Oak Creek Canyon to ourselves.  The creek was spectacular with sights and sounds I haven't experienced in years.  We brought some binoculars and actually sat still for a while since my Blackberry would thankfully not receive messages.  Birds I'm still working on identifying, a heron, trout, and an evening visit from some ducks who were probably looking for a quiet place to rest. 

We cooked a Mexican Fiesta on Saturday night with homemade enchiladas, and a few Pacifico's to wash them down.  Great times, many memories and photos to back them up when we can't remember anymore.
